The head coach of Croatian national team, Zlatko Dalic is a worried man over his team’s first group opponents the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Croat has indicated that he is having sleepless night as he is worried about the tactical approach the Blazers will adopt when they file out against three time African champions Nigeria in their group openerin order to get something out of the game at the Stalingrad Russia on the 16th of June.
Other occupants of the group are one of the tournament favourites, La Albiceleste of Argentina who boast arguably the best striking force going to the World Cup as they parades the like of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Mauro
Icardi, Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Heguain among others and the former striker of the team, Crispo is saying that the coach of the side, Jorge Sampaoli should go for a twin striker partnership of Lionel Messi and Paulo Dybala.
But whichever striker force will be used when they face Nigeria but then Zlatko Dalic is having sleepless night against the Super Eagles of Nigeria who they will indeed confront on the 16th of June 2018. Sabastain Veron, former Argentina striker who will never be forgotten in a hurry has expressed unhappiness over the 2018 FIFA World Cup draw in Russia which has pitched Nigeria against his country, Argentina in group D. Veron who helped Argentina beat the Super Eagles 1-0 at the Japan/Korea 2002 World Cup Labeled Nigeria “unpredictable team”.
Nigeria it is recalled defeated Argentina 4-2 in Krasnodar, Russia in a friendly tie on the 14th of November, 2017.
But the former Argentina striker is of the view that the result will not in any way affect the South American nation when both teams meet in Russia for the Mundial.
“They are unpredictable. They always come to us in the group. African players are actually unstable, and depend onwhat they have a day before and how they feel ahead of the game,” Veron declared.
