Recuperating Nigerian defender, Elderson Uwa Echejile, has thrown his weight behind the Super Eagles to triumph against the weeping boys of Group B of Africa Zone of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Desert Foxes of Algeria on Friday.

Despite his absence from the squad that will confront the Algerians on Friday due to injury he sustained while playing for fatherland in Uyo against the Chipolopolo of Zambia, Echejile believes that Eagles have enough quality to beat the Algerians on Friday and at the same time give good account of themselves against two time world champions, Argentina in a friend in Russia on Tuesday, October 14.

Echejile used the opportunity to commend the handlers of the team for recognizing new players and affirmed that the Algerian game is a big opportunity for the new players like Ola Aina, Francis Odinaka Uzohor and Anthony Nwakaeme to show their talents to the world.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s opponents in October 14 friendly in Russia, the La Albiceleste of Argentina wrapped up warmed in training in Moscow yesterday’s (Tuesday) ahead of the much publicized grade A friendly tie against three time African champions, Nigeria.

Argentine captain, Lionel Messi and Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero were pictured wearing snooze put over their mouths and noses, plus a pair of Sammer Leggings as they fought the cold in the Russian capital where the temperature was due to fall as low as minus 1.

It is recalled that Argentina almost missed out of next year’s FIFA World as it took the magical wad of Lionel Messi to rescue Argentina’s World Cup dream when he scored a hat-trick against Ecuador in the final leg of their World Cup Qualifiers.
