
14 year old takes home the crown at Cross River Teen Beauty Pageant

Precious Essien, a 14-year-old from Akwa Ibom State, has been crowned the winner of the Face of Teen Beauty Pageant International in Cross River State.

She triumphed over 14 other contestants in a competition that organizers described as “a blend of beauty and intelligence”.
Speaking after her coronation at the Etaval Hotel in Calabar, Miss Essien expressed gratitude to God for her success.
She is a student at Marygold International School in Calabar and aspires to become a pediatric nurse, hoping to contribute to society by providing medical care to children.
Miss Essien, who is also an ambassador and Miss NTA 2018, expressed her ambition to compete in larger pageants like Miss Africa, drawing inspiration from successful women in pageantry from countries like Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, India, and the Netherlands.
Thelma Empire, the pageant’s CEO and Managing Director, highlighted the organization’s mission to nurture and showcase the talents and potential of teenagers globally, promoting self-confidence, cultural diversity, and social responsibility.
