Leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS), Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has disclosed that corrupt leaders in the country are wasting their time as the door has been shut against them in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections.
Leader Obu disclosed this in a message made available in Calabar by the BCS Spokesman Patriarch Christ Shepherd Edet Archibong.
The spokesman’s message is an extract from an address presented to the world by His Holiness Leader Olumba Olumba Obu during the 2022 annual celebration of the Holy Mother’s Glorification.
The event coincided with Nigeria’s 62nd Independence anniversary.
He quoted Leader Obu as saying that come 2023 general elections: “Corrupt leaders will only waste their time in this election as the door has been shut against them.
“One thing is certain, no corrupt politician will be close to the presidential staff of office as only those with the fear of God, pure in heart and of a humble spirit will win”, he said.
“God is love and he is in your midst today rebuilding and reconstructing Africa to take the world stage in leadership and development transformation therefore I say arise Nigeria, you giant of Africa and take the lead,” Leader Olumba said.
He added that Nigeria has what it takes to have a stake in the world government most powerful decision bodies if only some leaders cease to have the national cake for themselves and their families alone, thereby indulging in corruption and nepotism.
He also quoted Leader Olumba Obu as saying that Nigeria shall rise again and be that which she was ordained to be in God’s scheme of things in the world.
Leader Obu was also quoted to have equally reminded Nigerians of God’s agenda for Nigeria so the country can get back on track.
These he said are that “Nigeria must return to her first national anthem which promotes unity and downplays tribalism and sentimentalism.
“Nigeria must revert to Calabar as its capital since the city of Calabar is now the city of the Tabernacle of the Godhead personified on earth.
“Nigeria must return to the 12 states administrative structure which has been preordained by God Almighty; This being in replication of the 12 tribes of Israel.
“It is for this reason that the forthcoming 2023 election will be very crucial to the world as well as Nigeria as a nation”, he said.
