2023: ‘We must rise to save Nigeria,’ as Gov. Emmanuel takes consultation to Cross River

Governor of Akwa Ibom state and presidential hopeful Udom Gabriel Emmanuel says our children will ask us why we failed to salvage Nigeria during our time knowing we have the capacity to do so.
This he said informed his decision to offer his services to salvage the country from its present predicament.
Governor Emmanuel disclosed this in Calabar during a consultative visit to the State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said he feels challenged by Nigeria’s present predicament and we must collectively rise to save Nigeria.
“Today we are challenged by the present predicament and we must rise to save Nigeria.
“If we don’t do something now our children will in future ask us why we failed to offer out services knowing we had the capacity to do something.
‘I offer myself to partner with God to rescue Nigeria, if we get it right in 2023 Nigeria will get back on track.
“We need a president that can rise and challenge the status quo for the benefit of the country”, governor Udom said.
He added that he is most qualified for the job because he has succeeded in the private sector by delivering dividends and also in the public sector by also delivering dividends of democracy.
He disclosed that his success as governor of Akwa Ibom state is an example that sub national governments can drive development.
He added that at any point in time God sends men to help his people and has offered to partner with God to salvage Nigeria.
Governor Udom was accompanied by Gabriel Suswan the director general of his campaign organisation.
Earlier in his remarks, the Senator Suswan said Nigeria needs a president who understands basic economics and also understands the diversity of the country.
Also speaking leader of the PDP in Cross River State Liyel Imoke said with Udom Emmanuel’s presentation no one doubts his capacity to deliver as Nigeria’s president.
