5 permanent secretaries appointed, five redeployed, as HoS announces shake-up in civil service
President Muhammadu Buhari, Friday, approved the appointment of five new permanent secretaries for the various ministries in the country.
This is also as the Head of Service (HoS) of the Federation, Mrs Folasade Yemi-Esan, announced the redeployment of another batch of five permanent secretaries.
The announcements which were made, Friday, take immediate effect.
According to the leadership of the civil service of the federation, the redeployment is to take effect

In a statement released on Friday, Yemi-Esan, the redeployment of five permanent secretaries has been approved by President Buhari.
The statement which was signed by the director of communications, Mallam AbdulGaniyu Aminu noted that the redeployed officials are to begin their new duties immediately.
The redeployed permanent secretaries include: William Nwankwo Alo of the Federal Ministry of Power was redeployed to Police Service Commission (PSC); Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan, Federal Ministry of Environment now redeployed to the Federal Ministry of Aviation; Hassan Musa, Federal Ministry of Aviation now redeployed to the Federal Ministry of Environment; Nebeolisa Anako, Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, now redeployed to the Federal Ministry of Power; and Ismaila Abubakar, Police Service Commission (PSC) now redeployed to the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
The new permanent secretaries whose appointments were approved by Buhari are: Adebiyi Olufunso (Ekiti); Maryann Onwudiwe (Enugu State); Yusuf Ibrahim (Katsina state); Ogunbiyi Olaniyi (Lagos State); and Ibrahim Kana (Nasarawa State).
Yemi-Esan said the date of the swearing-in and deployment of the appointees will be announced in due course.
