WIEN’s Woman Podcast: Engr Omezi speaks on ‘Local Content and Diversity’

The relationship between the highly applauded local content policies in the Nigerian petroleum industry and the resilient voices in the call for gender equity in the energy sector has been made clearer for those who would listen to the Executive Secretary of the Women in Energy Network (WIEN), Engr Asanimo Omezi.
Engr Omezi is the Executive Secretary of WIEN, the frontline gender equity group in the Nigerian energy industry; coordinating the advocacy efforts of the several directorates that oversee activities of different segments of the large body of corporate and individual members in the petroleum, power and new energy industries.
In the Episode Two of the second series of the WIEN Woman Podcast, Engr Omezi explains how effective implementation strategies could enhance realization of the prime national economic aspiration of the Nigerian Content law by harnessing the nation’s collective human capital in creating enormous values across the full energy industry value chain.
