BBNaija Sunday Show: Housemates got dazed over fake eviction prank

Tensions in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 6, Shine Ya Eye reached boiling point as housemates were give the shock of their lives during the live eviction show on Sunday.
If you recall, six housemates were selected for an elaborate eviction prank organized by Big Brother. The head of house Maria was tasked with making the housemates believe that she would nominate housemates to be evicted based on her assessment of their performance during the week. The names of the housemates nominated were: Jay Paul, JMK, Angel, Yousef, Pere and Emmanuel.
The housemates were shocked at some of the names listed such as Pere who is very close to Maria in the house, and Emmanuel who is in a “situationship” with Liquorose, who is her bestie. The housemates were told to pack their luggage in anticipation of the eviction show.
The house grew dull as fear and sadness overtook the housemates. People spent their last moments bonding with the housemates they were especially close to, like Jay Paul cuddling with Saskay and Emmanuel bonding with Liquorose.
With the show at hand, Ebuka appeared on the screen to begin the proceedings. Ebuka started with asking a variety of questions to the housemates. From normal questions Maria on how she managed doing the tasks assigned to her by Big Brother to spicy questions to Boma and Saskay about their relationship with Queen, Angel, Cross and Jay Paul respectively amongst others.
The time they had been dreading soon approached, eviction time. Maria was asked to call upon those she nominated. As soon as they were up, Ebuka asked Maria to pick two housemates to be evicted. Maria stared at Ebuka in disbelief as this was not part of the plan. After what seemed like an eternity, she picked JMK and Yousef. Ebuka allowed the tension to build before informing them that it was all a prank.
The looks of shock on their faces was one for the history books. Ebuka admonished them on their behavior in the house before signing off. The housemates congratulated the housemates as they look forward to another week in Big Brother’s house.
