Buhari presides over FEC meeting, swears in 3 new national commissioners of INEC
Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting kicked off, Wednesday, with President Muhammadu Buhari performing the swearing-in of three new National Commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The newly-sworn-in national commissioners include; Dr Baba Bila representing the North-East, Professor Sani Adam, representing the North-Central and Professor Abdullahi Abdu, representing the North-West zone.
The swearing-in took place before commencement of the FEC meeting which held at the Conference Room of the First Lady’s office at the State House.
Wednesday’s FEC which was partly virtual-conducted was presided over by President Buhari, with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha in physical attendance.
Also present were; the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; as well as the Minister for Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu.

Others include; Ministers of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Works and Housing, Babtunde Fashola and Interior, Rauf Aregbeshola.
However, Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan and other Ministers also attended virtually from their various offices in Abuja.
