Nigeria, Ethiopia, Gambia, Rwanda and others, all set to storm USA for Iaaas ‘Books Olympics’
By Chris Benson
The stage is set and the stakes are high as leading authors and writers from the African continent will storm Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States of America, for the 2021 “Books Olympics” in just few weeks time
The ‘Books Olympics’ also known as the ‘Outstanding Book Prize” is the key highlight of the International Association of African Authors and Scholars (IAAAS), Books and Leadership Summit holding between November 5 – 7, 2021
Prof Chinedum Igwe, the United States based Nigerian Scholar and Executive Director of IAAAS, while briefing the press in his base in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, said as at the last count Authors and Writers from Nigeria, Ethiopia, Gambia, Rwanda have registered their participation in the summit for the highly competitive ‘Books Olympics’
Prof Igwe stated that the IAAAS Books and Leadership Summit with the theme, *”Re-Engineering Africa Through Leadership Skills First Before Leadership Position”* has generated so much interest not only from Africa but other continents. He said countries like the United States and Turkey are already on board for the Summit while others are in the process of coming in.
Prof Igwe said the entry of these countries is quite commendable as it will further broaden the scope and the quality of participants at the ‘Book Olympics’ and the robustness of the discussions at the Summit.
The white bearded Professor Igwe however hinted that authors still wishing to participate can still join IAAAS after payment of a token annual membership registration fee which automatically qualifies them to be included on the organisation’s secure database and to receive express invitation to attend and participate at the annual ‘Books Olympics’ and will also be eligible to list their books for sale on IAAAS open-source e-commerce online bookstore:

He further said the Summit will also feature other events, such as the “Africa Ambassadors Forum” and Fundraising for the proposed Africa International Leadership Institute to be sited in Nigeria
The event, he said, will hold at the Courtyard & Fairfield Suites, 895, Bob Arnold Boulevard, Lithia Springs, GA 30122, USA.
