Okonji-Iweala’s son Uchechi, breaks medical record in U.S

Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonji-Iweala, has congratulated her son, Dr. Uchechi Iweala, who she said broke medical record in Maryland, the United States.

According to Dr. Ngozi, her son was one of the first spinal surgeons in Maryland to perform a successful navigated lumbar spinal fusion using a robot.

Making the announcement via her verified Twitter handle, Thursday, Okonjo-Iweala celebrated celebrates her son’s medical achievement.

She wrote: “Congratulations Dr. Uchechi Iweala, on being one of the first spinal surgeons in Maryland to perform a successful navigated lumbar spinal fusion using a robot! So proud to be your Mum! Keep it going!”
