United Nigeria Airlines announces fare bonaza
The United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) has announced promotional fare of N20, 750 on some routes for travellers in this yuletide season.
A statement by the UNA’s head of Communications , Mr Achilleus-Chud Uchegbu said the promotional offer begins on December 19 and will last till December 31 ,2021.
The statement reads “ As part of plans to reward loyal customers this yuletide season , United Nigeria Airlines has announced a promotional fare of NGN20,750 on some routes.
“The offer begins on December 19 and will last till December 31, 2021.
“Routes that will benefit from the offer are Owerri-Lagos, Enugu-Lagos and Asaba-Lagos. Also Owerri-Abuja, Enugu-Abuja and Asaba-Abuja will share in the promotional offer.
“Travelers on these routes are encouraged to take advantage of the offer to enjoy unique flight experience on United Nigeria.
“United Nigeria wishes her customers a Merry Christmass and blissful New Year.”
United Nigeria Airlines which was established in 2020 is a wholly owned subsidiary of Private Airlines Services Limited, a Nigerian company affiliated with Obiorah Okonkwo, a Russian-trained political scientist, businessman and entrepreneur.
The airline took delivery of four 50-seater Embraer ERJ-145LR aircraft during the second half of 2020.After rigorous examination by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), which included test flights, NCAA granted the airline an AOC on 1 February 2021. The initial AOC is valid until 31 January 2023.
On 12 February 2021, United Nigeria Airlines’ inaugural flight from Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria to Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria, had a 100 percent passenger load factor.
