Boko Haram terrorists ‘welcome’ Buhari to Borno with rockets
Unconfirmed sources say Boko Haram terrorists fired at least three rockets into Maiduguri, the capital city, on a day President Muhammadu Buhari was due to make a state visit to Borno State.
President Buhari is billed to commission an edifice donated by Mohammed Indimi to the University of Maiduguri, while in the state.
He is also expected to commission some other projects executed by the Borno State Government.
It is claimed that no fewer than three explosions on Thursday rocked Maiduguri, the State capital, ahead of Buhari’s visit.
The terrorist group began deploying rockets in its arsenal since penultimate week, when the group fired few kilometers into the state capital of Maiduguri, inuring many residents.
As at the time of filing this report, casualty figures could not be ascertained. Neither reports of damage to properties.
