Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has boasted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was going take back power from the ruling All Progressives Congress, come 2023.
Mohammed stated this on Friday in Abakaliki,Ebonyi State, when he visited to consult Ebonyi PDP delegates.
He said the PDP had many eminently qualified presidential Aspirants, capable of taking returning Nigeria to its lost glory if elected president in 2023.
He described APC’s led federal government as an aberration and a huge obstruction to the growth and development of Nigeria.
According to him, Nigerians only witnessed democracy during the regimes of former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He said President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime was characterized with nepotism, discrimination, bad governance, and corruption at its highest level.
“We are coming back to take back power. We have so many candidates in the PDP and we are all eminently qualified to Nigerians the kind of governance they want. But the take away that brought me to Ebonyi is for you to know me, the opportunity to know the country and for you to see me and hear me. In FCT, we reduced the trouble times by bringing good roads.
“The APC administration is an aberration, is an obstruction to our growth and development.
“Only the years Nigerians knew that there was democracy was during Obasanjo and during Jonathan. Yes, what happen in this regime is nepotism, corruption, discrimination, bad governance, corruption at its highest level,”he said.
