APC produces Nnaji its Enugu 2023 Governorship candidate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary in Enugu State has produced Chief Uchechukwu Nnaji as the party’s candidate.
Nnaji, a businessman who emerged unopposed, scored a total of 1070 votes in the election held Thursday at the APC Southeast Zonal office, Enugu.
Announcing the result of the election, The Returning Officer, Jallaba Sheriff, said 1100 delegates were accredited for the exercise, adding that 30 votes, were invalid.
Speaking shortly after the result of the election was declared, Nnaji thanked the party leadership, and lauded the peaceful and transparent conduct of the election.
He described his emergence as a “privilege to correct the wrongs of the past.
Nnaji said, “I am capable of correcting these wrongs. I have capacity to do this.I am bringing peace to the great and peaceful people of Enugu State”, he said.
Nnaji said he was poised to evolve programmes and policies that would change the fortunes of the state when elected as the governor in 2023.
He added that he would deliver quality projects and programmes with greater focus on industrialisation and job creation if he emerged winner at the 2023 governorship election.
