Just hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) extended deadline for comduct of party primary elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its presidential primary election to June 6 and 7.
The shift of the primary election which the APC had earlier slated for May 29 also extends the prevailing brinksmanship with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the ruling party appears to buy waiting time to field a candidate from the same geopolitical zone as PDP.
