Police arrest man for killing three yr-old boy in Anambra

A 34-year-old man, Mr.Onwele Anayo was on Thursday arrested by the Police in Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi Local council for killing a three-year-old boy, Divine Eze.
Anayo was said to have passed the night at Devine father’s house at Hillview Estate, Nkwelle Ezunaka on Wednesday and there was a quarrel between the two.
Following this development Anayo was alleged to have seized Devine as he slapped and smashed his head on the floor several times and killed him.
It was further gathered that he thereafter took a knife and pursued Devine’s father around the house to kill him.
The State Police spokesman, Ikenga Tochukwu, who confirmed the incident said the operatives of the Command, visited the scene on Thursday and recovered the body of the child, adding that investigation had begun.l to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.
