Popular actress Ada Ameh dies
Popular Nollywood sit-com artiste, and Benue-born actress, Ms. Ada Ameh, has died, late Sunday, in a Delta State hospital.
The popular face of the iconic DStv sit-com, ‘The Johnsons,’ as well as, in the high-grossing movie by AY, ‘30 Days in Atlanta,’ died in a Warri-based hospital in Delta State, around 11 pm on Sunday.
Cause of death has yet to determined, but the artiste only recently confirmed suffering depression. She also on June 15, 2022 lost her only daughter.
The late daughter, Aladi Godgift, who was over 30 years old, had died in Abuja in 2021, following an unsuccessful surgery.
Ms. Ada Ameh gave birth to Aladi when she was 14 years old and said her daughter was more like a friend to her than a daughter.
Ameh was said to have been a guest of an oil company toyshop and his family when she suddenly collapsed.
It was gathered that she was rushed to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited hospital but passed on before they arrived the facility.
Ameh also played the role of Anita in the movie ‘Domitilla’ in 1996.
Born on May 15, 1974 in the Ajegunle area of Lagos, the popular actress had reportedly shared a video of her eating with the family around 12:53pm, Sunday on her official Instagram page.
