How Ajadi carted home five awards in a single day
Wednesday July 20, 2022, may have come and gone, but its memories will certainly linger in the minds of a chieftain of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Comrade Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo. It was his birthday quite alright but the highlights of its celebration turned out a pleasant shocker for him.
He broke records by carting home about seven awards for his meritorious service to humanity using various platforms.
Ajadi who is managing Director/Chief Executive Oficer of Bullion Go Neat Global Limited, got accolades and unending applauses for exemplary entrepreneurship, work of Philanthropy, and for accommodative and supportive brand of politics.
it was not a surprise therefore, that the Afid Goshen Event Centre, Ibafo, where the twin events held, got filled to its sims.
Dignitaries came from many walks of life, politics, business, entertainment, academia and more.
And by the time the citations began to roll, applause was no longer in short supply.
The Commerce & Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN) said it was honouring Ajadi for being an economic value creator and also for friendly disposition towards Journalists covering the real sector.
The organisation, through its Chairman, Charles Okonji presented a glittering piece to Ajadi.
it was as if the awards and citation tap had been opened, as he was followed in quick succession, by the Managing Director of Dream Next Enterprises, Bisi Otunla, Chief Executive of Nollyfans, Steve Akpos as well as a delegate of the Online Correspondents Association of Nigeria (OJAN).
Each had words of commendations for Ajadi, for supporting entrepreneurship, the media as well as impactful and inspiring political partisanship.
These were in reference to Ajadi’s efforts at providing employment for youths particularly through his company, Bullion Go Neat Global, and also flying youthful flag as vice presidential contender under the NNPP.
Reference were made on how, in a relatively short time, he succeeded in leaving positive and inspiring footprints in the Ogun State political space generally and within the state’s chapter of NNPP, by Mr Sunday Oginni, the state chairman of the party when he came up to the podium.
Ajadi was cited as a nass mobiliser of youths being the national president of All. Youths Reoriented Movement which has been recording increasing relevance in political sensitisation and mass mobilisation of people in Nigeria for sometime now.
A reasonable representation of them could be notified at the venue, ushering in guests and serving.
So we’re some undergraduates who may have be befitted from Ajadi’s education support scheme.
A highlight of the event was musical performances and talent showcases by different groups.
These kept the venue active, till the event, making the long day a well spent one.
