Ogoja 1m Solidarity Walk is a public rejection of Governor Ayade – Dorn Cklaimz
From ANIEKAN ANIEKAN, Calabar
The Director General of the Senator Jarigbe Campaign Organization, Dr. Dorn Cklaimz Enamhe has described the one-million-man solidarity walk in Ogoja as a public rejection of the Cross River State Governor Professor Ben Ayade.
Dr. Enamhe disclosed this while speaking in the aftermath of the solidarity walk.
He maintained that the PDP’s Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe who will square against the APC’s Governor Ben Ayade has raised the bar of representation in the Senatorial District.
In his words, “What Senator Jarigbe has done is that everyone intending to run elections will have to tell the people what he is bringing to the table.
“His performance has made us believe that some of our former senators came to decieve us especially the one who has also served as governor.
“That’s why we are saying you did four years as senator, almost doing eight years as governor, what are you trying to do to come back.
“I think the governor will not come for this election because the solidarity walk was a public rejection of his ambition”, he said.
He said people from all political parties participated in the rally and the success of the programme is a “manifestation of the typical northern Cross Riverian who has found in Senator Jarigbe leadership and selfless disposition to serving the people”, he said.
He said in just one year in office, Senator Jarigbe has provided water, electricity, roads and also rehabilitated schools across the 54 political wards of the northern Senatorial district.
