Gowon at 88, still investing his talents for better Nigeria – Apostle Alozie

Abia State Coordinator of Abia Apostolic Intercessory Team, Apostle Chuks Alozie, has described His Excellency, General Dr. Yakubu Gowon as one of the finest former Head of State of the country whose life and times has been invested in nation building, peace advocacy and prayers for restoration of Nigeria’s glory and the good of the common man.
Apostle Alozie, who is also the Coordinator of Nigeria Prays in Abia State, said Gen Gowon’s contributions to national growth, development and cohesion would always be commended and applauded by good spirited men and well-meaning Nigerians, adding that Gowon was a living legend.
Gowon, a former military Head of State of Nigeria, turned 88 on October 19, 2022.
In a congratulating message to Gowon who recently celebrated his 88th birthday anniversary which was made available to The Oracle Today, Apostle Alozie prayed God to continue to grant the elder statesman more strength, sound mind and good health as Nigeria still needs his wise counsel, wealth of knowledge and experience in forging “a greater Nigeria of our collective dream.”
He said the Nigeria Prays, Abia State chapter will continue to cherish his fatherly advice and disposition in the development of Nigeria.
He called on all politicians to emulate the exemplary leadership qualities of the former Head of State who served during his time with the utmost interest of Nigerians as the agenda of government, which was the bedrock of his administration’s policy.
People’s welfare and security should be paramount on the agenda of all politicians vying for 2023 General Elections elective position, the clergy advised.
