APC must be sent packing ,Atiku’s wife tells C’River Women

The wife of the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Hajiya Titi Abubakar has advised the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to pack their bags and go because of the suffering meted out to the people.
Hajiya Abubakar disclosed this in Calabar during a town hall meeting organised to create awareness on her SHE campaign.
She said her husband has come to unify the country and promised to end all the challenges the women are facing.
The SHE campaign is the women aspect of Atiku Abubakar’s Covenant with Nigeria agenda and is centred around security, health and education.
According to Abubakar, “APC must pack their loads and go, the suffering is too much.
“They have changed the naira and I don’t know how the rural women are faring.
“My husband has come again and wants to save souls as well as the children of our women
“He has a five points covenant and I have added the SHE to the he.
“He does not want to experiment but is a unifier and will bring back Nigeria to the glory we were enjoying before. If you out him in the saddle, all our problems will end”, she said.
As a means to mitigate the challenges faced by the women, she offered scholarship up to University level to fifty students from the state.
Also speaking, Dame Edith Okowa, the wife of the PDP vice presidential candidate said only an Atiku Abubakar presidency will change the present quagmire.
She said every new year should be better but things getbworset as the new year unfolds.
She added that Atiku can rescue the country and a vote for PDP is a vote in the right direction.
On her part, Obioma Liyel Imoke, the wife of the leader of the party in the state Liyel Imoke said any vote outside Atiku is a waste of vote.
She said Atiku Abubakar has not come to the state to campaign because the APC has campaigned for them through their abysmal performance.
Also speaking, Chioma Gershom Bassey, the SHE coordinator in the state said they are focused on the interest and progress of women in Nigeria.
She said the SHE campaign seeksnto address all the challenges women are facing in the country.
