INEC declares two LP candidates winners in Enugu Assembly election

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Hon Harrison Ogara and Obinna Ijere as winners of the Enugu State House of Assembly elections conducted on March 18.

Ogara clinched the Igbo Eze South local government area elections, while Ijere won in Udenu Constituency of the state.

Both candidates contested under the platform of the Labour Party (LP).

Ogara defeated the incumbent Chairman of Igbo Eze South LGA of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to win the seat.
