“The Second Niger Bridge has since been completed; outstanding work on all access roads (on the Asaba and Onitsha ends) will be completed in May 2023, when the Bridge will be officially opened to traffic.
“The Lagos—Ibadan Expressway will be completed by April 30, 2023 and opened to traffic. About 10km of the project (around KM17—KM27, just outside Ibadan) is however on hold to allow the Oyo State Government to complete some ongoing drainage work being done on that section.

“Abuja—Kaduna section (longest & busiest section; 165.5KM) will not be completed before the end of this administration, owing to delays arising from various factors, including Right of Way issues & the ongoing Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline Project that runs through the route,” the Presidency said.
