Although there was no official confirmation of the development the
APC national chairman was said to have tendered his resignation at the orders of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
While no presidential communication supported the development, Independent Newspapers gathered the hawks within the party, using some critical voices in the NWC, are poised to ease the former Nasarawa State governor out of Buhari’s House should he fail to throw in the towel.
The National Vice Chairman of North West, Salihu Lukman had accused him of breaching the constitution of the party and running a sole administratorship.
