Gov Mbah swears in 20 commissioners
…tasks them with quality service delivery
Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has sworn in 20 of the 21 commissioners that will constitute the State Executive Council.
He charged them to get down to work immediately as the administration was in a hurry to deliver on its campaign promises.
In his effort to assemble the calibre of personnel that will key into his agenda to transform Enugu into the most viable economy in Africa, Governor Peter Mbah has inaugurated his Executive council members.
The Enugu state Governor had during his assumption of office promised to inject disruptive ideas in business of governance
He promised to move the state economy from Current $4.4 billion to $30 billion within four to eight years in office.
These may have propelled the choice of this technocrat to form the state executive council members of his administration.
First, the state Solicitor General administered the oath of office and oath on the commissioner nominees.
Governor Mbah who highlighted his expectations, charged the appointees on the task ahead to deliver a safe, secured and prosperous Enugu state.
The new commissioners express readiness to work with the Governor to build a state that the residents will be proud of.
Four old commissioners were among the 20 newly sworn in state executive council members with three women.
