C’River: 2024 trade fair’ll create opportunities for trade, investment promotion – Duke

The Cross River State for Commerce Abigail Duke says the state’s 2024 rebranded trade fair will create opportunities for trade and investment promotion in the state.
Abigail Duke who doubles as the Chairman of the Steering Committee for the fair said the fair is targeted as a multi sectoral trade promotion and networking.
She made this know at the Ernest Etim Bassey Press Centre during a briefing to announce plans for the fair.
In her words, “The fair is aimed at creating opportunities for trade, business and investment promotion in the state.
“It will also provide markets for new products create access to new markets and development trends as well as build build new business relationships within and outside Nigeria”, she said.
She added that target participants included the 18 LGAs of the state, private companies within and outside Nigeria, foreign embassies/consulates and state governments across the country.
She also said the fair is not for herbs and traditional medicine .
The year’s trade fair has as theme: “In Support of our shared prosperity” is scheduled to run from 15th to 26th November, 2024.
