Gov Umo Eno set to commission Spring Road in Ikot Ekpene, Friday
The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has delivered on his promise to the people of Ikot Ekpene to handover a new Spring road.
The 1.1-kilometer road, which serves as an access route to the prestigious Goretti Girls Secondary School, had been in a state of disrepair and dilapidation for over a decade, causing inconvenience to students, teachers, and the local community.
The project, handled by emerging construction giants U & K Limited comes with a 0.875km discharge drain
Governor Umo Eno has taken a bold step to restore life back to that area and with the construction of this road, the lost glory of the once-preferred school will be restored, and economic activities in this area will improve.
The commissioning ceremony, slated for this Friday, underscores Governor Eno’s commitment to upgrading the state’s infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
