Abia reconstitutes Christian, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards

Abia State government has reconstituted the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board and the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards in the state.
This followed the approval by Governor Alex Otti for the appointment of 11 persons for each of the boards.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Citizen Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, which indicates that the appointments are with immediate effect, the Abia State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board is headed by the immediate past State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Otutubuike Agomuo.
Members of the Board include the State President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Archbishop Dr. Chikezie Emmanuel Elekwa (JP), a prominent evangelist, Rev. Prof. Mosy Madugba; current Abia CAN Chairman, Rev. Ojo Ojo Uduma (JP); Bishop Manasses Okere (JP) and Bishop Dr. Udo U. Nmeregini.
Other members are Most Rev. Dr. Uma Onwunta, Pastor Uche Nwokeohuru; Rev. Fr. Gabriel Kalu; Pastor Ugochukwu Kingsley Chimereze and Pastor Chioma Ibezim (Ph.D).
Similarly the 11-member Abia State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board is chaired by the State Chief Imam, Sheik Ali Ukiwo. He will be assisted by Imam Musa Iro; Yusuf Ukaegbu; Nwakanma Abubakar Igwe; Imam Bashir Idris; Imam Usmar Tukur and Adamu Audu.
The rest of the members are Okikiade Yusuf; Said Umar; Hajia Azeezat Jimoh and Hajia Hadiza Usman Pepe.
