Kanu would emerge victorious from detention – Group

Convener of Eastern Youth Network (EYN), Dr Charles Amanze, has predicted that the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, would emerge victorious from his current travails.
“Nnamdi Kanu is coming out of this detention with Biafra,” Amanze, the High Prince Ugochinyerenaw Amadioha Nsirimo, declared in an interview in Umuahia.
Reacting to the re-arrest, repatriation, detention and continuation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s trial, the Amadioha Nsirimo who claims to be the spiritual leader of the emerging Eastern Nation (Biafra), said Kanu was abducted, not arrested, adding that the IPOB leader’s ordeal was preordained by the gods who, he said, revealed to him that Kanu would return to Nigeria for Biafra to be realized.
Amanze, while making proclamations on May 29, 2021, as the High Prince Ugochnyerenwa Amadioha Nsirimo at his Palace in Nsirimo in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, had called on the IPOB leader to come home and assist him to “set up the order of the Priesthood governance,” as the Eastern Nation (Biafra) would be “established on the authority of Princess and Princesses.”
He said that Amadioha (god) told him that “that a great thing will happen after the proclamation, that Nnamdi Kanu returning will be a kind of trap.”
Said Amanze: “Amadioha said the travails that is engulfing Nnamdi Kanu is for them (Nigerian state actors) not to understand his mission and that is what will end the problem; that he (Kanu) will be roped in; that they (gods) are the ones doing it but it is to confound the wisdom of the foolish and wise men of Nigeria.
“That this is a trap which they (Nigerian government) must fall into but I never knew the nature of the trap. So before the 29 of June, I learnt that Nnamdi Kanu has been brought back on the 27th and it was two days to the one month Amadioha gave. And I said, well, it has begun.
“So, Nnamdi Kanu was abducted, not arrested; he was kidnapped. But he is coming out victorious. Like Amadioha said, every charge that has been pressed against Nnamdi Kanu, he will come out of it victorious.
“Nnamdi Kanu is coming out of this detention with Biafra. So let us be patient and watch the drama because the gods have said we are in this and we must see our people go free, we must see you establish your nation because your nation is the hope of the world tomorrow.”
Amanze also warned that there may be no elections in 2023 if Kanu remains in detention. “People clamouring for 2023 elections, I don’t see the possibility. Who in the East will want to be a governor or a senator when Nnamdi Kanu is in detention? You want to go and do election, that you are who?,” he asked, rhetorically.
“You see, it is time we start reasoning well and begin to face our problems the way they are and resolve them,” he added.
Describing Nnamdi Kanu as a “victor,” Amanze said he was proud of the IPOB leader. “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I am proud of him. He has fulfilled his work and if by any minute from now, the ancestors call him to glory, I will not cry, I will be happy that he has done his labour because the gods acknowledged that he has fulfilled his mission.”
The author and Philosopher disclosed that just as God gave Moses assignment to free children of Israel from Egypt, the gods of Igboland have given him the same assignment by tasking him to set up the foundation of the Eastern Nation in its proper state. “The outline of the operation was given and I was charged with the duty to see that reconciliation is properly carried out in the environment,” he said.
