Abia CoS charges Govt. House Staff to improve on service delivery

The Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has charged staff of Government House, Umuahia, to remain committed and focused in driving home the policies and programmes of the Dr Alex Otti-led administration in the state.
Pastor Ajagba who gave the charge while addressing the staff of Government House in Umuahia, urged them to rise up to the task of governance by taking their job more seriously.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor enjoined them to be at their best behavior, improve on their attitude to work, imbibe the spirit of team work and come up with creative ideas and information that would improve on the status quo. He also noted that Abians have gone through a lot of hardship, trauma, stress, and harped on the need for them to remain united in their quest to redefine governance and place Abia on the map of socio-economic development.
Pastor Ajagba, while reassuring them of Governor Alex Otti’s commitments to creating a more conducive working environment for Abia workers, promised to look into some of the critical issues affecting them.
Responding, the Chairman, Staff Welfare Scheme, Government House, Umuahia, Mr Ogbonna Onwuchekwa, thanked the Chief of Staff for his fatherly advice and promised that they would continue to live up to expectation.
The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Chinedu Ekeke, was among other political appointees, Management and Heads of Departments, Government House, Umuahia, present during the meeting.
