Adamawa supplementary election: INEC to present certificate of return to Fintiri, others, Wednesday
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said, Wednesday, it will commence presentation of Certificates of Return (CoRs) to winners in the 2023 supplementary election conducted in Adamawa State, last Saturday, April 15, from today, Wednesday.
INEC said state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri who was announced winner of the Adamawa Governorship poll, Tuesday, will receive his certificate, Wednesday afternoon.
According to INEC, in short statement released via its Twitter handle (@inecnigeria), the Adamawa governor-elect and his deputy will receive their, Wednesday afternoon, while senatorial and House of Representatives, and state Assembly winners will receive their certificates earlier same day.
“Following the conclusion of supplementary elections nationwide and the declaration of winners, the Commission will present certificates of return to the Adamawa State Governor and Deputy Governor-elect at 3pm today.
“Similarly, members of the National Assembly-elect (Senators and House of Representatives) will receive their certificates from 11am today.
“Venue: Conference Room, INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja.
“Members of State Houses of Assembly- elect should contact our State offices for their Certificates,” INEC said.
