This is as the Accord Party also officially announced Maduka as its candidate in the November 6 governor ship election in the state.
The medical doctor and founder, Las Vegas Pain Institute, United States, Maduka said he dumped the PDP in order to further pursue his governorship ambition, having also alleging that he was schemed out of the contest for the PDP icket.

“It is with utmost sense of humility that I want to show my appreciation to all my allies, supporters, all the people that like me as a person or cue into our transformational vision or for whatever reason. I cannot bear watching my people continue to suffer due to lack of proper administration and bad governance. By God’s grace and intervention, I have been able to impact the world around me and I am not relenting. Politics or no politics, I will continue to do good to the humanity.
“This time now, I have left the People’s Democratic Party and has joined Accord Party officially. I am the authentic gubernatorial candidate of Accord Party for the November 6, 2021 Anambra governorship election and with your unalloyed support I will be your next Governor.

It would be recalled that earlier this month, August, the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) substituted its original candidate for the November 6 Governorship Election in Anambra State, as the party handed the ticket to the former PDP primary aspirant, Chief Obiora Okonkwo.
ZLP had in late June, elected Chief (Comrade) Uche Ugwoji, unopposed as its candidate for the Anambra governorship poll in a voice vote mode adopted by the party during its governorship primary election held in Awka, Monday, June 28.
Okonkwo, it would also be recalled, had handed his resignation letter to the National Chairman of PDP, dated July 24, citing the litany of court cases against the party following its June 24 governorship primary, as reason for his action.
Okonkwo, who name would be on the ballot as candidate of ZLP for the November 6 election in Anambra State, also submitted to INEC, Dame Jessie Balonwu, a former member of the House of Representatives and former Commissioner for Education in Anambra State as his running mate in the election.
