Anambra 2021: Police assure ‘watertight security’

Police in Anambra State have assured of watertight security, ahead of November 6, 2021, governorship election in the State.
The Commissioner for Police in the State, Echeng Echeng, who gave the assurance while briefing Journalists on Friday, called on Anambra people to come out to exercise their franchise, as there would be adequate security to man the election.
“The Inspector-General is passionate about this election and for everything we have asked for he provided.
“We have support for helicopters for aerial surveillance, we have gun boats to patrol the water ways, we have enough vehicles to patrol.”
Echeng further assured that much as the police would dominate everywhere in the state it would be civil but firm and decisive on trouble makers.
“I assure you that there is comprehensive, water tight security to make sure that all security breeches will be met with force.”
