Anambra 2021: Protests rock Ngige’s community over failure of accreditation machine

People of Nkwo Ide community, in Idemili South LGA on Saturday protested the non functioning of the INEC’s accreditation machine in their area.
Nkwo Ide community is the country home of the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Senator Chris Ngige.
As at 12:55pm, the angry crowd that have waiting to vote to no avail, at polling unit 002 Alor Ward 1, Nkwo Ide, Idemili South local government area of Anambra state, protested the development.
APGA candidate, Soludo finally votes after hours of delay over systems failure
Meanwhile, the candidate of the APGA in the election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo eventually voted at his ward 13 Isuofia Aguata LGA after long hours waiting due to technical failure of the authentication machine.
Also, voting was cancelled at Immaculate Heart Ekwulobia Aguata as armed men reportedly invaded the polling unit, attacked the party agents, and carted away the ballot boxes and other sensitive electoral materials.
