APC presidential campaign flag off launched in Jos as Tinubu taunts Atiku, Obi
The Presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC Bola) Ahmed Tinubu was launched in Jos on Tuesday at Jos Rwang Pam Stadium even as the former Governor of Lagos state took a swipe at Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
Thousands of APC supporters and leaders from all walks of life demonstrated their love and preference for Tinubu as they trooped to the stadium as early as 9 am to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari, Sen. Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate and his entourage to Jos.
The occasion was also attended by APC governors as well as Senators ,House of representatives members ,former Governors and several important Personalities.
The All Progressive Congress Presidential Candidate Bola Tinubu who spoke at the occasion promised good governance and Economic Development if elected President during the 2023 General Elections.
Tinubu said he was grateful to God and the party for emerging the Presidential Candidate of the party ,saying that his wealth of experience in governance would be brought to bear.
He said the achievements of the Present administration would earn them a landslide victory come 2023 as he would consolidate on the already existing developmental strides of the Buhari Administration.
While highlighting his agenda for the Nation if elected, Tinubu promised to focus on Education, Security, Agriculture and Human Capital development.
“We will ensure that no Nigerian goes to bed hungry and every child is educated. “
Tinubu took a swipe at Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
The former governor of Lagos described Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate, as “wrong theory”, and Obi, standard bearer of LP, as “disobedient.”
“One of them, I don’t want to call their names. Is it Atiku? Atilukated what? Wrong theory. Mark it down. Wrong theory for Atiku,” he said.
“Is it Obi? He is disobedient. He lives in Lagos, not in Anambra. He doesn’t know the road back to Anambra, so we will chart him another course.”
Taking a further dig at PDP, he said: “They want to come back. Tell them that a dead fish cannot be sweet in any soup.”
Addressing President Muhammadu Buhari, Tinubu said when history is written, it would be kind to him.
