APC reschedules state congress over Independence Day celebrations
Ruling, All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled its nationwide state congress to October 16, 2021.
A terse press statement by the APC Caretaker National Secretary, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, said the party shifted the date from 2nd to 16th October due to Nigeria’s independence celebrations which comes up on 1st October, a day before the initial date.
“Governors, ministers, and party members will be involved in the Independence celebrations in their various states.
“The party decided to reschedule the state congresses to allow all our members to participate in the Independence celebration,” the statement read.
