Atiku’s daughter campaigns for her dad ,urges students, youth to vote for ex-VP
Atiku Abubakar’s daughter, Maryam whose father is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the 2023 elections is soliciting votes from the Nigerian students and youths urging them to vote massively for her father in the forthcoming presidential election.
Maryam spoke in Awka, Anambra State on Thursday during a summit tagged: “Anambra Youths/Students for Atiku.”
The event was attended by thousands of students and youths drawn from various tertiary institutions and communities across the state.
She described her father as a strong believer in education and a candidate who would invest hugely in the sector to address its challenges, urging the youths to utilise their voting strength to vote in her father in the coming election.
She said: “Always believe in yourself, learn from past mistakes and do not be easily distracted.
“Have a strong belief that with your voting strength, you can recover the country.
“The huge investments my father has made in education over the years is a testimony of his strong belief in education.”
Also speaking, Chief Ben Obi, Chairman of Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organisation in Anambra State, described the former Vice President as a lover of students and youths.
He said that Abubakar was committed to a better Nigeria.
Obi said: “In Atiku you see a man who believes in education.
“Apart from building a university, Atiku offers scholarships to over 250 students yearly.
“We urge you to mobilise more students and youths to vote Atiku because you will benefit from transformation agenda.”
