Bayelsa Judiciary proceeds on 2024 vacation
The judiciary in Bayelsa will commence its annual vacation with effect from August 1 till September 13, afterwhich it will commence the legal year activities.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by Mr Julius Nyananyo, Head, Media and Information , Bayelsa Judiciary, normal court sittings will resume on September 23.
Nyananyo stated that the Chief Judge of Bayelsa approved the annual vacation did so in line with Order 45, Rule 4 (d) of Bayelsa State High Court Rules 2010.
The statement assured the public, lawyers and litigants who have urgent matters within the vacation, that vacation judges will be available to attend to such urgent issues.
Normal court sessions will resume on September 23, after the legal year activities
