Blame APC chieftains for negative narratives about Tinubu – Shehu Sani

A former Senator in 8th National Assembly, Sen. Shehu Sani, has blamed the political elites and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for all the spate of negative things being said about the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sani said the APC chieftains and elites who did not want to Tinubu as the party’s presidential candidate and attempted to stop him from winning the primaries are the ones spreading information about his past. They were first dug out and toxically spread by these elements within the party .
Recall that for some times now, report about Tinubu’s drug trafficking case and his eventual forfeiture of the sum of $460,000 to the American government has been rife in the media.
Sani, a social critic said statement in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday claimed that the opposition was copying from the APC.
He wrote, “Any negative things said about the President-elect was first happily dug out and toxically spread by the elites & chieftains of his party, in their attempts to stop him from winning the primaries. Whatever the opposition are saying today came from the tongue of the ruling party.”
