Chimaraoke Nnamani moves his Ebeano political structure to APC
The Ebeano political structure founded by the former governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, has formally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The announcement is coming a day after its leader, Chimaroke, announced his decision to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was made by the Chairman of Ebeano, Chief Emmanuel Okwor , on Tuesday in Enugu.
The former Enugu governor had been groaning over his loss of the Enugu East senatorial district seat to Kelvin Chukwu of the Labour Party.
”The alliance with APC is to consolidate the partnership with President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve good governance in the country,” Okwo said.
He further added that members of the ‘Ebeano’ political family across the country had been consulted and in agreement with the alliance in the interest of the people.
Nnamani had been having a running battle with PDP and decided to align with Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) , now the President-Elect .
