C’River: Hunter kills 7yr-old boy in Boki forest

A seven year-old boy has allegedly been shot dead by hunters in the Boki Forest in Central Cross River State.

The boy whose name was given as Ferdinand Afor, died on Wednesday evening in the forests of Wula in Boki Local Government Area after sustaining gunshot injuries.
The unfortunate incident was as a result of a misunderstanding as the boy was suspected by the hunter to be a game.
It has been gathered that the Hunter had turned himself in to the Bateriko Division of the Nigerian Police Force.
The incident overshadowed the Boki New Yam Festivities in the area and
