Delta State-born-REC assumes duties in Cross River

Professor Yomere Gabriel Oritsemolebi, the newly appointed Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission has assumed duties in Cross River State.
Oritsemolebi took over last Thursday from Dr. Alalibo Johnson Sinkiem, who was redeployed to Rivers State.
Oritsemolebi is among the 19 RECs who were sworn-in on November 3.
The new Cross River State REC is a Strategic Management specialist who acquired his first degree, masters and Ph.D in Germany.
Before his appointment, he was a lecturer and astute administrator who served in various capacities in both federal and state universities in Nigeria
Oritsemolebi is the second REC to be posted to Cross River State within four months.
