Ebonyi congresses: Stop fighting Umahi, APC youth leader warns chieftains

All Progressives Congress (APC) youth leader in Ebonyi State, Comrade Ogochukwu Elrm, has warned chieftains of the party against opposing Governor David Umahi’s directive ahead of upcoming Congresses of the Party.
Comrade Elem who handed down the warning while addressing some of the party faithful who paid him a visit at his office in Abakaliki, said Governor Umahi would be the one to determine the shape and modalities of the forthcoming APC Congresses in the State.
Elem expressed worry over what he termed the high level of deceit and questionable attitudes of some politicians from the State who, according to him, masquerade as champions in Abuja boasting their connections in high places.
The APC youth leader further emphasised that Governor Umahi remained the leader of APC in Ebonyi State, would determine the structure of the party.
He noted that any attempt to disrespect the Governor’s directives would be resisted with all the necessary actions no matter how highly placed the person involved.
He called on the APC Youths across the State to remain dedicated and committed to the party; adding that Umahi was a youth friendly governor who defiled all odds to allocate over 70% opportunities to youths in appointment and elective positions in Ebonyi State.
“There will be nothing like Abuja powers in Ebonyi State as long as APC is concerned. The leader of the party is Engr. David Nweze Umahi and he will roll out the modalities of the Congress in the State. Anyone who refuses to join the Change mantra of the Governor hopping to lobby the National secretariat to get unmediated attention to perpetrate distraction should understand that Ebonyi youths will not fold their hands and watch that happen. It must be halted”, he said.
Elem revealed that the achievements of the Governor within six years, showed he was an uncommon transformer whose voice should be leading at all times.
