
EEDC announce system collapse in South East

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) on Wednesday announced system collapse in all South East state.

Mr Emeka Ezeh, Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC explained that the loss of supply currently experienced in all 5 states in the region as a general collapse.
“We wishes to inform her esteemed customers that the loss of supply currently being experienced is as a result of a general system collapse which occurred at 11:27am today, Wednesday, 20th July 2022.
“This was restored, but at 2:52pm another partial collapse occurred. As a result, we are currently at zero allocation and our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States are out of supply.
“We are standing by, awaiting signal from the National Control Centre (NCC) for restoration of supply,” he said.
