Enugu APC flag bearers pass confidence vote on state chairman

Flag bearers of All Progressives Congress tickets for different elective position, for the 2023 general elections, in Enugu state have passed vote of confidence on the state chairman of the party, Barr Ugochukwu Agballah.
Reading the resolutions on behalf of all APC candidates for 2023 general elections, the candidate for Igbo Etiti west Constituency, Hon Idike Chineme, after an emergency stakeholders’ meeting held in Enugu on sunday, he noted that members of the party were happy with Agballah and would continue to support him to move the state forward.
The resolutions reads: “We the Candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu state for the forthcoming 2023 General Elections, wish to express our gratitude and absolute confidence in the State Leadership of our, party, ably led by our State Chairman, Barr.Ugochukwu Agballah.
“As the Candidates of the party for the forthcoming 2023 election, we wish to state that the State Chairman has done incredibly well in repositioning the party in Enugu state.
“It’s on record that today, the other political parties in Enugu are jittery over the overwhelming rising popularity of our great party and its wide acceptability in the state, and are bent on destroying our achievements in order to slow down our momentum before the election”.
“We are conscious of the fact, that the idea of ward visits that has been undertaken by the Chairman and the Governorship Candidate, Chief Uche Nnaji has restored the confidence of our party members at the grassroots.
“As a result of that act, we have welcomed a host of new entrants into our fold. Barrister Ugo Agballa is evidently a man who understands the tricks and intricacies of Enugu politics and we as APC Candidates are now well positioned to strongly compete in and win the forthcoming elections as a result of the strategies and tough grind being employed by our State Chairman”.
“We owe a duty to the masses of Enugu State indigenes and residents, to offer a vibrant and credible alternative to the monopolistic cabal that has kept them impoverished and their environment underdeveloped over the last 23 years.
“We therefore urge all people. Of good conscience, all well wishers of our party and its genuine stakeholders to jointly support Barrister Ugo Agballa-led State Executives as they assiduously leads us to landslide victory come 2023 general elections,” he said
Earlier in his remarks, Mr Agballah assured that the party would win election in Enugu state in 2023 under his leadership.
“APC will win election in Enugu state because we parade the best gubernatorial candidate. Uche Nnaji is the best candidate with clean hands in the state as he has wide contacts and political base,” he said.
