Enugu PDP Guber candidate, Mba promises to ensure poverty alleviation

The gubernatorial candidate of People’s Democratic Party in Enugu State, Peter Mba, said he desire to lift the people out of poverty and open the State for businesses spurred him to contest for the governorship of the State.
Mba, a business mogul and CEO of Pinnacle Oil, stated this during an interactive session with journalists in Enugu on Sunday.
He said: “when you are driven by transcendent value, it means on how your decision is going to impact positively on others and that is why I’m running for the governorship office in Enugu state because I want to touch lives and bring my people out from poverty
“What drove me to what I am doing today is that I want to serve my people and it’s beyond myself because we want to put smile on the faces of our people
“We are on a journey of growth, development and greatness in Enugu state. We have been running Peter Mba Foundation in Enugu state before now and it’s a charity organization in which we are using to touch lives and we have build roads, hospitals as well as educational projects etc and we are ready to do more
“We have intervened in many communities and no citizen in the state has ever denied treatment in our hospital as lack of funds as we ensure that everybody enjoys quality medical services
“What we are going to witness in Enugu is going to be massive. We will enable private sector development and open Enugu state for business as we will invite private sectors to inject huge funds for the development of the state
“We are announcing to the world that Enugu state is open for business as we will attract private sectors for massive investment.
Mba used the opportunity to disclosed that he had chosen Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai as his runnings mate in the 2023 general election.
