Euro Exim Bank poised to create 5, 000 millionaires in Nigeria

Euro Exim Bank has commenced operations in Nigeria with a promise to raise 5, 000 millionaires in in the next five years.
Programme Coordinator and Trade Finance Consultant to Euro Exim Bank, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba, disclosed this in Aba mid-week during the launch of the bank’s inclusive banking programme.
Ufomba told the surging crowd that attended the event that Euro Exim Bank would achieve its lofty dream with the assistance of many business partners, including Hope PSBank, Zenith Bank, Heritage Bank, Globacom, Smartteller and their representatives who would jointly digitize, educate, and support the making of the millionaires.
“I am the Trade Finance Consultant to Euro Exim Bank, and founder of The ChangeAbia Organization. These two organisations which I head are powering this event in collaboration with the Abia State Government. It has been a partnership that works,” he said.
Explaining technical details of the inclusive banking, he said: “We are Euro Exim Bank, operating in forty-three countries of the world with a representative office in the United kingdom where I report. We are the biggest, the best, and fastest growing global trade facilitators. According to a local adage, “morning shows the day”.
“We shall start with the recruitment of 50 Trade Finance Marketers whose job is to sell our trade finance instruments at mouth-watering commissions denominated in foreign currency. We have engaged seven others as trainers, and seventeen others as resource persons.
“As facilitators of global trade, businesses in Aba will experience a boom through utilization of trade instruments ranging from $100,000 to $1000,000 per trader by way of Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, State Bankers’ Committees (SBLCs), Advance payment guarantees, Confirmation of offshore instruments, and provision of foreign exchange; we also open offshore accounts, merchant accounts, back to back instruments, among others.”
He said the launch, coming barely four months after he became the Trade Finance Consultant to Euro Exim Bank, marked the beginning of an enduring economic journey that would lead to equally great economic transformation and social emancipation of the people, was pointer to the fact that achieving the organization’s goal was possible.
“In lucid terms, we are here to make 5, 000 millionaires in five years by giving nets to willing people to catch their own fishes. In addition, we shall assist in formatting the largely informal sector of the economy by banking the unbanked in the urban and rural areas.”
Ufomba, a two-time governorship contender in Abia, commended the state governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, for creating enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state.
