Ex-Aviation minister, Stella Oduah joins APC to ‘change political narrative in South-East’
Former Aviation Minister in the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Stella Oduah, has officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Senator Oduah who currently represents Anambra North at the senate, was presented to the Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, by his Imo Governor, Hope Uzodimma, Thursday.
Also in attendance at the venue where the former Aviation Minister was received was Kebbi State governor and Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and the Anambra state election Governorship candidate, Senator Andy Ubah.
Welcoming Oduah to the APC, Buni congratulated her for joining the party and assured her of rights as all other members.
“You will enjoy the privileges enjoyed by all members of the party because you will have a waiver,” Buni said.
The former Aviation Minister joined the APC family as part of the process of the changing political narrative in the South-East.
Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, Bagudu while welcoming her into the party said she is a national figure who has joined “a national movement to deliver a greater Nigeria for the future.”
Also commenting, Imo governor and Chairman of the Anambra State Campaign Council, Senator Uzodimma said Anambra State would be won by the APC in the November 2021 election.
A statement by APC Director of Publicity, Salisu Dambatta quoted Oduah as saying she defected to co-change the “political narrative” in the Igbo-speaking States.
“She said during the occasion that she joined the APC family as part of the process of the changing political narrative in the South-East”, the spokesman noted.
Oduah announced that she moved along with her multitude of supporters “who have been jubilating in Anambra State”.
The governorship candidate, Senator Andy Uba, Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege and other stalwarts were in attendance.
