Ex- Imo Governor , Emeka Ihedioha loses mom
The mother of former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha, dies at 90.
A statement personally signed by Ihedioha said his mother died on Thursday in Abuja.
He stated that the funeral arrangements of his late mother would be announced to the general public in due course.
The former governor who thanked those who identified with the deceased during her last days, enjoined them to remember the family in prayers.
“After a fruitful and eventful life of God’s abundant mercies and grace, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha (Nee Okereke) gloriously transited to eternity on Thursday 20th April 2023 in Abuja, with her family by her side.
“While we thank friends and well-wishers who identified with us, particularly during our mother’s last days, we enjoin you to remember the family in your prayers”, he said.
